The conditions under which you use the software and website provided by Aura.
Effective 27 August 2026 · This is a translation of the Korean original. Where the two differ, the Korean text governs.
These terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the software and website (the “Service”) provided by Aura (the “Company”), and the rights and obligations of the Company and the user.
The Company provides the audio software “AURA app” (“AURA”) and related information. AURA is an audio tool that adds a low tone over music playing on the user’s device.
AURA is not a medical device. It is not intended for the diagnosis, treatment, mitigation, handling or prevention of any disease, and it is not supplied for such use. What people hear and feel varies from person to person.
If you have a health condition or concern, consult a medical professional. You use the Service at your own judgement and on your own responsibility.
AURA requires headphones or earphones. Speakers do not preserve the separation between left and right, so it will not work as intended. Other operating requirements are stated on the AURA app page.
(1) The AURA desktop edition is software bought with a single payment. It is not a
subscription and does not renew.
(2) The price is USD 29. Value-added tax or sales tax may be added depending on your
country; the final amount is shown at checkout.
(3) Payment is handled by Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”). Paddle is the Merchant
of Record for the transaction and is responsible for collecting and remitting tax and
for issuing receipts. The Company neither receives nor stores your card details.
(4) On purchase you obtain the right to install and use the AURA desktop edition for
your own personal use on any number of machines. That right may not be transferred,
and the software may not be redistributed, resold or rented.
(5) The Company issues no licence keys, and AURA makes no connection of any kind to
verify entitlement.
(1) You may request a refund within 14 days of payment and the Company will refund
the full amount. No reason is required.
(2) How to request one, how long it takes, and what happens afterwards are governed by
the Refund Policy published by the Company, which forms
part of these terms.
(3) Neither this Article nor the Refund Policy limits the rights given to consumers by
the Korean Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce; they apply to the
extent they are more favourable to the user than that Act requires.
Rights in the Service and in the software, documents, diagrams and images within it belong to the Company. You may not reproduce, distribute, transmit or create derivative works from them without the Company’s prior consent.
The typefaces used on this website — Pretendard, Wanted Sans and IBM Plex Mono — are separate works distributed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
Rights in the music you load into or save in AURA belong to you or to the original rights holder. The Company does not collect, transmit or retain your music and has no means of accessing it. You must only use music you are entitled to use.
The Company may change what the Service does or stop providing it. Changes that materially affect users will be announced on this website in advance.
The Company is not responsible for problems arising from force majeure, from your device or network environment, or from your own intent or negligence. The Company does not warrant that the Service is fit for any particular purpose of yours.
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Korea. Disputes arising from use of the Service are to be brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
